The ultimate cheese board accompaniement. Based on an 1890s recipe from the New York Times, this sweet and savoury chutney is loaded with rhubarb, raisins, onions and spices. Pair with apple slices and old cheddar, blue cheese and a glass of wine, and really whichever way you like it (a grilled cheese with a dollop of this stuff is heavenly).
ingredients: brown sugar, rhubarb, raisins, onions, apple cider vinegar, salt, spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cayenne pepper).
